Best and most discreet hair catcher on the market
Yes yes and yes. I have tried four other hair stopper products without much success before this one. The tubshroom is the clear winner.
1. You don't have to look at the bundle of hair and product while you're showering, which I always found gross - especially when you're in a hurry and forget to clean it right after. Nobody wants to walk into the bathroom and see that. But the tubshroom is super discreet so nobody would even know.
2. It truly catches all the hair.
3. Easy to clean. Just take it out after showering (easiest to clean while the hair is still wet) and pull the hair off with some toilet paper. Then rinse it under some warm water to remove any hair product.
You only have to remember to clean it regularly, otherwise it will slow the water draining out of your shower when there is too much hair on it. I would recommend cleaning it after every shower, but realistically if you're not willing to do that I would think every third time or so would work as well (with long hair).

Last hair catcher you'll ever buy
My girlfriend has long hair and we've tried multiple hair catchers - this one was recommended by a friend of hers and now we have two - it works perfectly!

hair catcher working overtime
very easy to use! you just simply unplug your bathtub drain plug and replace it with this piece.
this is a hair catcher. you just replace the old one with this. shower/bathe and let your hair fall off with peace and ease... no worries, the hair catcher will do its job. when you're ready to unplug and see the craziness of the tangled hair in the hair catcher, you just simply pull out (no strength needed) and VOILA you have an abundance of hair! the catcher is flimsy making it very easy to clean and pull the hair off.
note to self: next time, i will use a disposable glove because it can feel a bit slimy and nasty and i want to believe the sliminess is from mildew. blehhhhh!

Hair-catcher (as opposed to flies)
This is a terrific item for recalcitrant drains like mine.
The pipes in our building were built zig-zag, which makes it very hard for everything to go down the drain. Generally we need a snake job at least once every six months, if not more often.
So, this item is perfect.
It fits precisely into the bathtub drain, and it catches most of the hair that would otherwise clog things up and require yet another call to the plumber.
Others have complained that the top comes off and that it is hard to clean. We have neither of those problems.
